
Our Herstory
The Beginning
The Delta Gamma Pi Multicultural Sorority was originally created as an alternative to the traditional model of collegiate Greek life. The sorority was founded by women who did not believe that sisterhood should be exclusionary.
1998
Delta Gamma Pi was originally founded on November 11, 1998 in Maryland. The three founders were Diana Mitchell, Kendra Stevens and Felicia Stewart and were students at Towson and Frostburg State Universities.
2007
After expanding to college campuses in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, New York and South Carolina, Delta Gamma Pi Multicultural Sorority was incorporated on October 26, 2007 in the State of Florida.
2015
The last active chapter of Delta Gamma Pi at Roosevelt Unitversity in Chicago graduates it's final members. The national organization decides to go inactive.
Our Impact
Although Delta Gamma Pi Multicultural Sorority is not currently active, our sisterhood is forever. And our impact left a mark on our communities and on ourselves.
